Our annual summer picnic is held at Bissett Park, which is adjacent to the beautiful New River.
We are involved in various types of mission work which benefits our local communities as well as places in need around the world.
Women’s Fellowship Circle
The Women’s Fellowship Circle is involved in many different projects in our church, and help with the outreach of the church. Regular projects include Easter baskets to the Children’s Home of the Highlands, Goody boxes for our college students, and cookie boxes and a visit for our shut-ins at Christmas.
As part of our music program, we host visiting choirs from the community and nearby colleges.
Decorating the Easter Cross
At Easter, members of the congregation provide spring flowers to decorate the Cross and help us celebrate Easter.
Our Annual Christmas Dinner Event is held the first part of December. The event starts with Cider in the Parlor, followed by the singing of Carols in the Sanctuary, and Dinner in the Fellowship Hall.
Coffees after Church
Once a month, we have Coffees and snacks after the church service, allowing everyone to enjoy the fellowship.
Blacksburg Tango meets monthly for dancing in the PCR fellowship hall on the 3rd Friday evening, 7:30 – 9:30 PM. Everyone is welcome to dance or observe. No partner necessary, and our group includes all ages from students through retirees.
Sunday in the Park
In the Fall, we have a church service at one of the shelters in Bisset Park, which is a beautiful park that runs along the New River. After the service, we have a covered dish meal and enjoy fellowship in one of the beautiful outdoor settings in Radford.
