We are pleased to let you know that the August Kids Program will continue again this year. August Kids is a local program sponsored by The Radford Clothing Bank. Its purpose is to give children attending Radford City Schools a chance to start the school year with brand new clothing. On August 2nd, we will provide a voucher to each student of qualifying families to purchase back-to-school clothes at our local Radford Walmart. Last year August Kids served 238 students in Radford, and we anticipate a larger number of applicants this year. With new clothing, these students will gain self-confidence to start the year in a positive way.
