Steve Willis, Pastor
Steve Willis was ordained to be the pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Woodruff, South Carolina in 1995 and has been a solo pastor ever since. More recently he has been doing interim ministry and helping churches begin a new chapter of life and ministry. This will be his eighth interim pastorate.
Steve and his wife, Amy Merrill Willis, were married in 1993 at Watts Chapel at Union Theological Seminary in Richmond. Amy is a professor of religious studies at the University of Lynchburg and also a Presbyterian minister.
They live in Bedford and have two children. Cate is a rising sophomore at the University of Lynchburg studying history. Nate is a graduate student at American University in the School of International Service.
Steve enjoys living fifteen minutes from being able to hike the Appalachian Trail and he also plays golf regularly and badly. He is truly looking forward to meeting and being with the people of the Presbyterian Church of Radford.


Mary Collins
Office Manager
Mary was born and raised and still lives in Hiwassee. She graduated from New River Community College, and has a very spoiled Jack Russell named John. Mary loves holidays and loves to travel and check out new places. She loves flowers but thinks she has a brown thumb. Mary is a primary contact for our church, and can be reached at pcofradford@gmail.com.

Patty Oakley
Director of Christian Education
Patty is married to Greg Oakley. They have 3 adult children, a daughter-in-law and a son-in-law as well as one grandson and one granddaughter. Patty is a graduate of Radford University with a BS in Biology and Secondary Education. In her spare time she loves being outdoors enjoying God’s creation, reading and anything involving her grandchildren.

Sandy Wright
Director of Music
Sandy Wright is a current student at Radford University where she is majoring in Music Therapy with a concentration in voice. She has performed individually as well as in various ensembles throughout her academic career. She loves being able to perform musically in various settings such as church, in choir, as well as musical theatre. Sandy hopes to use her love and knowledge of music to help others, just as it has helped her throughout her life. She is excited to continue sharing her love and passion for choir music as the current Director of Music at the Presbyterian Church of Radford.

Joey Harrington
Pianist
Joey Morgan Harrington is a current Masters student at Radford University, studying music composition and piano performance. Harrington also works as a jazz pianist in the New River Valley, primarily playing solo piano gigs at wineries, restaurants, and private venues. Harrington received both a B.A. in History and a B.F.A. in Jazz Piano Performance from the University of North Carolina in Asheville, graduating in 2020. While living in Asheville, Harrington began performing with various jazz groups and recorded his first album as a leader in 2019, titled Lipinsky Sessions. Prior to working with the Presbyterian Church of Radford, Harrington worked for NRVCS as a behavioral specialist and also worked as a piano teacher at various music schools in the New River Valley.
