Thanks to Don Makin for being with us since November. His last Sunday was highlighted by his blessing of our children, a special and moving moment at PCR.
Our new Minister Morgan Whitfield will join us on March 3. The PNC will provide a small reception in the Fellowship Hall to give us all a chance to meet he and his wife Gwen informally after worship. Hope you can all come to meet them and begin our new chapter at PCR.
March 3 is Scout Sunday when we honor the troop that we sponsor.
Our book will be given to Morgan on March 3. It is in the office this week for additions.
Kelly McCoy will continue yoga in the fellowship hall at 9 am on Sunday. Contact Kelly with questions or for more details @ 540-577-6223
Easter Baskets for the Children’s Home – Fellowship Circle will pack and decorate Easter baskets after worship on March 17 for the Children’s Home of the Highlands.
PCR Sesquicentennial Celebration/Homecoming will be April 14. To help you match names and faces of those you see at church, we’re going to create a photo board! Here’s the plan. We’re asking everyone to select and print a 4×6 (or smaller) photo of you or your family, slip it in an envelope on which you have written the name(s) pictured, and drop it off at the church library, church office, or with Becky Covey (540-250-5229) by March 17. We will create the photo board the week of March 17.
Also, we are searching for former and distant members and friends of PCR to invite to our sesquicentennial celebration. Please pass along names and contact information to Becky or Brenda.

UPCOMING MISSION OPPORTUNITIES
The pantry will be collecting feminine hygiene products especially pads both super, regular and light; tampons both regular and super may be used. Also, we need deodorant, both women’s and men’s. There are also requests for dental floss.
The pantry generally on the 4th Saturday each month continues to grow and be in high demand. Those of us who volunteer generally leave feeling so blessed. We appreciate the support of the congregation in this ministry with any donations, either monetary or actual supplies.
Dates for Necessities Pantry:
